Christopher Bean Coffee Doubles Distribution Area with Nations #1 Grocer, Kroger
DAYTONA BEACH, FL May 1, 2004--Florida's fastest growing coffee roaster has been selected to be the only new gourmet coffee in 3 of Kroger's divisions from over 15 other coffee companies making presentations at Kroger's new product review this past March.
Christopher Bean Coffee will roll out in Kroger Stores located in TN, VA, W VA, MS, AR, and NC this summer with 4 ground varieties including Colombian, House Blend, Jamaican Blue Mountain Blend and Tiramisu Flavored Coffee.
Christopher Bean Coffee has hand-roasted unique blends and flavors for discriminating coffee drinkers since 1998. Karen Jones, a food broker in Cincinnati with Crossmark Marketing who worked closely with Brown and Geallis on the presentation and negotiations summed up the impact of the Kroger deal best as she informed Christopher Bean that they were being added to the specialty coffee segment of Kroger when she said "This Is Huge!"
